Tutorial: Ombre Lips

Hey everyone! I got a request to do a tutorial on an ombre lip. I thought this would be fun to do because it is way easier than it looks! Let's jump into it then!

Start out by hydrating your lips. I used Mayblline Baby Lips in Quenched. It is a clear moisturizer, so I can put it under these products. Select a lip liner and a lipstick of your choice. Any colors will do.

Line the outer corners of the mouth using your lip liner. it doesn't have to be perfect at all! Just line as much of the corners as you would like. Above is how I typically do mine.

Next you are going to want to apply your lipstick starting in the middle bare part of your lips. You will want to overlap the lipstick with the lip liner a little bit to give a gradient effect. I like to push my lips together and rub them back and forth slightly to help with blending. Play around with it until you get it the way you would like.

This is how it should look when you're finished. Something similar to the above photo. It's also nice to pop a little bit of lip gloss in the middle of your lips to make it shiny, but that step is strictly optional!

Let me know your thoughts on this tutorial!
