New Battlestation and Collection Post

Happy Saturday everyone! I apologize for the lack of posts lately, as I just recently moved. After arriving here, I acquired a new battlestation that I am dying to show you. This also seemed like a good time to share my collection. Warning: this post is going to be very photo heavy.

The desk belongs to my boyfriend's uncle who passed away a few years ago. The desk has one drawer in the middle that is being occupied by a bunch of random papers. I hope to eventually get it cleaned out to put more makeup in, although I'm not entirely sure what I will put in there just yet. On top of the desk I have a framed scrapbooking piece that was created by my lovely mother. It reads: "just keep calm and have a cupcake." Next to that I have some simple organizers that I purchased at Walmart in the utensil aisle. To the right of that I have two acrylic organizers that I purchased off Amazon. Finally, I have a larger three drawer organizer that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I am still hoping to get a nice mirror, so for now I am using the mirror out of whatever palette I am using that day. The battlestation is next to a window and there is a lamp there.

Here is a more up-close photo that shows the lovely framed page and my palette collection. I also leave out my eyelash curler so it is easier to reach for. I also have a candle sitting there, but it is not featured in the photo.

My palette collection from back to front: Sigma Paris Palette, Sigma Resort, Lorac GLOgetter, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, Lorac Pro Palette, and Lorac Unzipped. I also have two Sleek palettes that I keep in the top drawer of the black organizer.

Here we see the two 3-drawer units that I purchased here from Amazon. These units are fairly sturdy, too! Definitely a great alternative to buying a Clear Cube. On top of the first organizer I have my three Tarte Blushes, a container full of lip balms, my EOS lip balm, and a eyeshadow sample from Sigma that I need to still send to my friends (oops!).
The second 3-drawer unit has two square vases that contain my brushes. My brushes are mostly Real Techniques or Sigma. In front of that, I keep my Maybelline Color Tattoos and my L'Oreal Infallibles.

The first drawer: I use this drawer for eye products. I have my Clump Crusher Mascara, Urban Decay Primer Potion, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, Pixi Quad, Estee Lauder shadow, etc in this drawer.

The second drawer: This drawer is full of face products. I keep my Cargo and NYC Bronzers in here. I also have my blushes from The Balm in here (Toile, Lace, Argyle, and Hot Mama). I keep my Mary Lou Manizer highlighter in here, along with my Sigma highlighter.

The third drawer: This drawer is full of foundations, powders, and concealers. I keep my Holy Grail foundation, MUFE Mat Velvet + in here, along with my Revlon Colorstay. I have samples of MUFE Concealers in here, too.

The second organizer
The first drawer: Is full of lipsticks that I absolutely adore. I store all of my MAC lipsticks in here, along with my Milani Colorstatements, and various other lipsticks.

The second drawer: This drawer is MOSTLY full of Revlon Lip Butters. I am obsessed with them, especially Juicy Papaya! I also have my OCC Liptar in Grandma in here.

The third drawer: This drawer is full of Revlon Lip Stains, OCC samples, and random lip glosses/pencils that I have.

My black organizer with three drawers
The top is full of my boyfriend's stuff and my nail polishes.
I'm not going to show the contents because it is still a work in progress. Most of what is in there are products that I do not use very often anyway.

Well this is my new battlestation! I hope you enjoyed it!

More Organization!

Hello everyone! I have been really struggling to use some of the products that I have because they were kind of out of my awareness in a storage closet in my bathroom. I tend to take very hot showers, and I was finding that my eyeshadows were starting to feel different. This caused me to spiral into a panic and motivated me to reorganize it in my bedroom. I took this old chair that I normally keep in the livingroom as a footstool and moved it into my bedroom against the wall. Velcro apparently sticks to my chair, so I put lipsticks into it. I also used candle holders to put other lipsticks in. The top drawer is strictly eyeshadow. The second drawer is blush/bronzers/eyeliners/mascaras/and lip glosses. The last drawer is filled with beauty samples, sharpeners, and other miscellaneous beauty stuff. I have all of my most used palettes on top of the organizer.
