My "Battle Station"
Hello lovelies! I thought now that I have organized the makeup that I wear everyday that I would show you where I do my makeup. It's not as cute as some of the vanity set ups that I have seen, but it is very functional for me. I prefer to do my makeup standing up in the bathroom. It's just much easier for me when I wake up in the morning. With that in mind, here's my current setup.
On the right side of the sink I have my cleaning face products. I have my makeup remover wipes, my astringent, cotton swap pads, and my tooth brush. On the left side I have my brushes, as featured in this photo. I also have my face lotion and my hand lotion, as well as my face powder. In my brush holder I put some bottle caps. It gives the jar a little bit of a vintage and fun twist. Functionally, it makes the shorter eyeshadow brushes stick out enough to be seen and reached for.
On the towel rack, I have this lovely travel makeup case organizer that was given to me by my boyfriend's mother. It has three zippered pockets and a velcro line on the top for closing it together. (I will be doing a more up close look at this when I finally get around to doing my Christmas/Birthday haul, so stay tuned for that!) In the bottom zipper I have products that I am trying to work into my routine (blushes and my nail file atm). In the middle pocket I have the products that I use every day. I have my new Clump Crusher mascara, foundation, eyelid primer, face primer, eyeliner, etc in here. It gives me a way of having all of my daily products easily accessible and within reach. In the top zipper I have my two new palettes by Sleek that I have been using just about every day. I also have my eyebrow comb. Along the top velcro I have added this little pouch that is full of lip products that I am currently trying out and trying to incorporate into my daily makeup looks. This is a great way for me to remember that I have purchased new lip colors that need to be tested and reviewed.
So, that's my current setup. Do you have a battle station that you would like to show me? Post a link to your post or photo of it to show me! Let me know what you think of my battle station by leaving a comment below.
Thank you for reading! xMissGumdrop
