Pixi Products - First Time Review

Hello lovelies! I know that it has been forever, but my 2013 New Years Resolution is to blog more. I have a lot of new products that I have been trying out that I am planning on doing reviews for. One of the brands that was sent to me by a close friend is Pixi. This brand can be found at Target. Let's go ahead and get started on this review.

The products:

Pixi Beauty Blush in No. 4 "Rosy Rouge"
This color is a lot darker than it looks in the pan (at least on me). I would recommend applying it softly and really buffing it into the skin. I found that it applied easily and evenly and was easy to blend out. It's a fun color that I would wear with a neutral eye.
Pixi Shade Quartette in Shades of Taupe
I am really excited about this little palette because I do not own any eyeshadows that are these colors. The palette has the two shades on the right that are mostly matte. The light brown is a good transitional blending color for any eye look. The highlight color is more of a pink color, so I probably will use it less than the others. I prefer white/cream colors for my highlight.  The two brown colors are very similar in color. One is just slightly darker. The texture is very soft and almost buttery as you apply them. There is some fall out to these shadows, so I would recommend doing your foundation last.

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in No. 6 Baby Bare
This product resembles the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in design, it but does not really resemble it in performance. While I loved the color of this (very fresh and pinky),  the formula had a tendency to stick into my dry lips. If you do not have dry lips, this probably would not be an issue. The product has a minty smell and applies very smoothly. It does not stain your lips, so I had to reapply it whenever I noticed it was coming off.

 Pixi Large Lash Mascara (Brown)
This product was very exciting to me because I do not have a brown mascara. The wand is REALLY large on this. I tried to show in the photo, but I am unsure if it really accurately shows the size. I love this mascara for a neutral everyday kind of look. It seems to hold the curl in my lashes relatively well and it applies very nicely to the top lashes. It can be somewhat messy on the bottom lashes due to the large size of the brush.

Here are some photos of the swatches so that you can get an idea what they look like.
And lastly, here is a photo of the products in action. As you can tell, these products really compliment each other very well. They create a really nice wearable look that I can foresee me using in the future. I definitely enjoyed the quality of these products. I would definitely repurchase more Pixi products in the future.
