FOTD: Smokey Eye

TGIF everyone! I was super busy today with going to the gym and going grocery shopping that I hadn't had time to do my makeup! I thought that it would be fun and relaxing for me to try to do a smokey eye. This is really the first time that I have done a smokey eye that didn't look like I got punched in the eye. I am pretty satisfied with the results, so here it is!

FOTD: Pop of Garnet

Happy Saturday! I am home just taking it easy today before I get going on some packing for my big move. On days like today, I really just like to take makeup risks and try some new color combinations out. Today's look was inspired by a photo that I saw on a makeup forum. I put a pop of a Garnet color onto the lower lash line to give some extra ooomph to the look. It's subtle, but it seems to have warmed up the eye look on me. I think it really helps bring out the brown in my eyes. 

The photo to the right was taken in natural lighting without flash next to a window.

FOTD and OOTD: A Casual Day Out

Hello lovelies! I went to the mall to see how much my Victoria's Secret Secret card had on it from buying 2 bras a month or so ago. It was only $10, so I was pretty sad. Either way, it was nice to get out of the house. I put together this soft look using some browns and a coral blush. 

I also posted a photo of my outfit that I was wearing. I apologize for the picture quality as I was in a dressing room, but you get an idea what it looked like.
